The MT613X series chip is a switch sensor IC can detect the magnetic field that is parallel to the IC package. The chip based on monolithic technology, which builds AMR Sensor and ASIC in one monolithic chip, and targeted for various applications in industrial and automotive markets.
The MT613X series chip is extended and upgraded based on the Y-axis parallel induction of the MT611X series chip, so that the sensing can be performed in the plane where the X-axis and the Y-axis are located (also called 2D sensing), and the 360° parallel sensing function is realized, and with a stable magnetic sensitivity at all angles, Bop: ±18 / Brp: ±13, two different operating frequencies (20Hz and 1KHz) are available upon request. The MT613X series has a wide sensing angle and strong magnetic sensitivity, so it is widely used in anti-magnetic piracy attacks and flow detection in smart meters (electricity meter, water meter and gas meter) and liquid level detection in industrial and automotive applications.
The IC internally includes a Wheatstone bridge with magnetic film, a current regulator for operating with supply voltage from 1.65V to 5.0V, a sleep/awake logic for low power consumption requirement, small signal amplifier and Schmitt trigger comparator with dynamic offset cancellation, and an output driver with push pull output or open drain output.
The MT613X series are available in a SOT-23 package and is RoHS compliant.
