MagnTek released a new latch switch IC——MT1401-EN series, the upgraded product of MT1401, achieving a significant improvement in functions based on the MT1401.
MT1401-EN compared to MT1401, using AEC-Q100 automotive electronic standard design and manufacturing, chopping sampling frequency, ESD protection capabilities have been significantly improved, and add the output short circuit protection. Chopping sampling frequency is up to 800KHZ, to adapt to more and more high-speed sampling applications, ESD (HBM MODE) increased to 6000V. In addition, the newly added output short-circuit protection design, in the full temperature range (-40 ℃ ~ 150 ℃), when the output current is over limit (> 50mA), the chip will stop working to protect the expensive application machine. These functions enhancement make the MT1401-EN with higher reliability, and longer life time. It can be widely used in high-speed, ultra-high-speed DC brushless motor commutation, flow sensing, high precision speed detection, automotive motors and electrical tools.
