Comparison of MT8381A's single-chip solution with MT4409A-EN's traditional solution
n The single-chip solution does not continue to use additional capacitors and resistors, which reduces solder joints and reduces failure rates.
n Compared with the traditional solution, the single-chip solution is adjusted from 8 parts to 5 parts, saving discrete capacitance and capacitance, and eliminating the labor cost of installing these discrete devices. The area of the PCB is 1/30 of the traditional solution. However, there are higher requirements for adopting Hall performance.
n The traditional PG board circuit solution has power supply and output current limiting resistors, RC filtering, and external pull-up resistors. The MT8381 integrates these inside the chip to ensure a complete replacement of the traditional PG board circuit solution.
① The R1and C1 filter on the power supply side is replaced by a voltage regulator circuit design with a withstand voltage of 60V or higher and a power supply reverse protection design.
② The output current limiting resistor R2 is replaced by the built-in clamp protection circuit at the output.
③ The external 10K pull-up resistor R3 is replaced by a built-in 10K pull-up resistor
