For minerals such as 3TG (tantalum Ta, tin Sn, tungsten W, gold Au), cobalt Co, and mica Mica from conflict or high-risk areas, as well as metal minerals controlled by non-governmental armed forces or illegal military factions through smuggling trade channels, they all belong to conflict minerals. McGonagall requires suppliers to comply with the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct (RBA), only purchase materials from suppliers who are responsible for the environment and society, all suppliers are not allowed to purchase and use conflict minerals, meet the requirements for conflict free minerals, and purchase from the Responsible Mineral Assurance Process (RMAP) certified smelters and refineries list confirmed by the Responsible Mineral Initiative (RMI)( http://www.responsiblemineralsinitiative.org/ ). All suppliers should purchase metals from smelters and refineries that have passed RMAP certification and meet conflict free metal requirements. Smelters and refineries that have not passed RMAP certification must be removed from the supply chain.
Suppliers are required to inform us immediately and adopt alternative solutions if there are conflict minerals used to provide Magone's products. Relevant rectification measures should be implemented according to our company's requirements. Only after confirmation of completion of rectification can we continue to supply to ensure full compliance with conflict free requirements. Materials related to conflict minerals should be treated as non-conforming products.
Require suppliers and supply chains to conduct commercially reasonable due diligence investigations annually to ensure that the metals used in the products provided to McGonagall do not originate from conflict minerals. Changes in supplier or supply chain conflict mineral smelters and refineries information (including additions or deletions), as the main change management, also require immediate notification to McGonagall through the RMI Conflict Mineral Reporting Template or other reports that comply with the IPC-1755 Conflict Mineral Data Exchange Standard.
Suppliers, mineral processors, mining companies, or raw ore from the source in the supply chain are required to develop policies and management processes related to conflict minerals in accordance with the requirements of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and this standard.
