Wonderful review | MagnTek participated in the China International Robot Exhibition
The 7th China International Robot Exhibition (CIROS) 2018 was held on July 4-7 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai, which is China's first national exhibition platform for the whole robot industry chain, known as the first robot exhibition in China, and one of the four major robot exhibitions in the world. MagnTek Microelectronics Co., Ltd., a supplier of magnetically encoded sensor solutions, was invited to participate in the exhibition.

In the MagnTek booth, MagnTek showcased a variety of industry-proven mature application solutions for the field of robotics. Position detection deficiencies in the robotics industry still need to be improved
At present, in the domestic robot industry, industrial robots, service robots, AGVs, etc., are common, and photoelectric encoders or resolver products are commonly used for position detection. After many years of use, these products are relatively mature in technology, but due to the limitations of technical conditions, there will still be some inherent defects in different applications. Moreover, the photoelectric encoder also has problems such as high environmental requirements and weak anti-vibration and impact ability; Resolvers have problems such as high production costs, high installation size requirements, and high production labor intensity. Its price/performance ratio is no longer a significant advantage.
