MagnTek · New Product | Energy saving, efficient and anti-interference, new non-magnetic water meter solution - MTL100
The measurement methods of smart water meters are becoming increasingly diversified with the development of electronic technology. The mainstream sampling methods are pulse and direct reading. However, pulse methods have obvious limitations: they are easily affected by external electromagnetic interference or due to the cumulative adsorption of impurities in water by permanent magnets, resulting in measurement errors or being artificially utilized, missed or ignored. In this situation, Magun has launched a new generation of dedicated non-magnetic sensor chip solution - MTL100, which solves various pain points in industry applications such as working distance, power consumption, measurement accuracy, anti-interference ability, electromechanical reading consistency, and integration.
MTL100 is a specialized chip based on self-excited coil induction angle sensing. By detecting the rotation of metal sheets, it converts mechanical signals into digital signals, providing an effective solution for the implementation of new non-magnetic remote measurement. Provide dual forward and reverse digital signal outputs, and confirm real-time measurement data and assembly reliability through I2C communication. MTL100 has the characteristics of small size, low power consumption, and good anti-interference performance.
The high-performance and stable MTL100 launched by McGonagall utilizes a highly integrated ASIC solution to achieve a low-cost and low-power single chip non-magnetic water meter solution. Compared with other non-magnetic solutions currently available in the market, this solution has significant advantages in terms of power consumption, integration, cost, and performance.
MagnTek is committed to the rapid development of intelligent and fully electronic watch products, and has strongly launched this new non-magnetic water meter solution. This scheme has a system design that achieves high functionality and low power consumption, with flexible design, greatly reducing the difficulty and power consumption of non-magnetic detection technology. It is also suitable for the design requirements of other meter schemes such as gas meters and heat meters.
